Job Summary:
As a Loan Closing Analyst in the Deal Set Up and Funding team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating syndicated loans, helping companies achieve their financial goals. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure a seamless deal closing process, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing and prioritizing a pipeline of transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Your contributions will directly impact our clients' success and the firm's reputation for delivering first-class service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Initiate collaboration across multiple teams to interpret loan documentation
- Coordinate principal and fee-related closing payments
- Gather required documentation prior to deal closing
- Manage and prioritize a pipeline of assigned transactions
- Reconcile exception reports for closed transactions
- Analyze and communicate amendments to agreements
- Provide accurate data with a low error rate
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building client relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Internship or work experience in finance or banking
- Basic understanding of syndicated loans and loan documentation
