YOUR ROLE
Genworth is seeking a highly motivated and skilled People Analytics Data Scientist to join our growing team. As a key member of our HR function, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize our people strategies. You will work closely with HRIS, IT, HR business partners, and leadership to identify opportunities to improve talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness through data analysis.
What you will be doing
With a strong understanding of both key business context and BI architecture and design, this role will be critical in bridging the gap between the business user and their data. They will analyze large amounts of HR data to generate insights, optimize processes, and enhance employee experiences. Responsibilities will vary from very technical to very high-level design.
- Develop and implement advanced analytical models and machine learning algorithms to address key HR challenges, such as predicting employee turnover, identifying high-potential employees, and optimizing recruitment sourcing strategies
- Analyze large datasets of employee data from various sources (HRIS, performance management systems, engagement surveys, etc.) to identify and forecast trends, patterns, and insights related to workforce dynamics
- Design and conduct statistical analyses, including regression analysis, time series analysis, and A/B testing, to evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives
- Create compelling visualizations and reports to communicate complex data insights to HR business partners, leadership, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with HR business partners to understand their needs and translate business questions into actionable data analyses
- Develop and maintain data dashboards and modeling tools to provide ongoing monitoring of key HR metrics
- Partner with IT in the design and maintenance of data warehouse
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and advancements in People Analytics, data science, and machine learning
- Contribute to the development of our People Analytics roadmap and strategy
