Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, including mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other essential systems. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for our employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from building occupants and management.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment longevity and efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with external contractors for larger maintenance projects or specialized repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist with building security and emergency response procedures as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas and grounds

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Building Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Solid understanding of Plumbing, electrical systems, and drywall repair.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs).
• Must have personal transportation, driver’s license and insurance.
