Operations Administration Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY:
Oversees the scheduling and administrative supervision for the Casino Operations department. Promotes and maintains the utmost integrity and high-quality customer service to all patrons and employees.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Generates and updates schedules for all Casino Operations hourly team members.
- Administers, maintains and tracks all paid time off (PTO) requests.
- Serves as the department administrator for all leave of absence requests including tracking and progress.
- Serves as the department administrator for timekeeping and payroll to include reconciling sign-in sheets with Timeworks reports, generating and submitting time and pay discrepancies to payroll, all within a timely and accurate manner.
- Administers, tracks and maintains department attendance records. Generates and issues documentation and disciplinary actions associated with attendance policy violations.
- Maintains and tracks Internal Control Exception Reports and Surveillance Incident Reports.
- Assists with special projects and assignments as directed.
- Acts as role model and motivates subordinates to provide superior level of customer service to the guests.
- Handles guests concerns quickly and efficiently within scope of authority.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Casino Operations knowledge preferred. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess excellent math skills and the ability to multi-task. Must possess well-developed interpersonal skills. Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public. Must have a professional appearance and be a team player. Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to maintain a high-level of confidentiality.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time (minimum of four hours).
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency while performing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the casino; from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
- Must be able to lift, carry and/or push a minimum of 40 lbs.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, turn, push, pull, grasp objects and the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
