Dietary Aide

Haverhill Pavilion Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Dietary Aide to join our food services team. This position supports the nutritional needs of both patients and staff by assisting in meal preparation, tray assembly, sanitation, and overall kitchen operations.

Shifts:

• 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

• 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  Candidates must be available to work both shifts and have weekend availability as part of a rotating schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation and food setup for both patients and employees

• Utilize dietary production sheets to prepare and assemble all cold side dishes in accordance with recipe compliance

• Arrange cold food items on trays in an appealing and organized manner using tray templates

• Prepare and mix house and supplemental nourishments

• Transport food trucks to patient units, pick them up after meals, and return to kitchen

• Load trays into carrier units for dishwashing and ensure timely and sanitary processing

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the day following state sanitation guidelines and infection control standards

• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations

• Remove trash from workstations and dispose of appropriately per department policy

• Wash floors and assist with additional kitchen duties based on volume and workflow
