Job Description
We are seeking a Product Manager to join the Experian Automotive Product team. You’ll be responsible for product ownership in support of world class data driven solutions offered by Experian. Your role will be critical to revenue generation across 4 key sales channels including OEM, Strategy, Dealer, and Lender. Key strengths for this role are in developing data insights that show how our automotive technology products provide value to the clients. You will play a critical role in defining and executing reporting and business intelligence product features to drive success of our overall product strategy.

Responsibilities
- Works on Experian Automotive Data product lines (leveraging Vehicle History, Credit, Identity, and other Experian Data solutions).
- Work within Experian Data environments to apply automotive specific strategies, create reporting and dashboards to be leveraged to drive business strategy and provide enhanced industry level insights.
- Lead the effort to develop, collect and analyze metrics and continually improve reporting across platforms within Automotive Business Units. Establish requirements for data movement, modeling, aggregation, and infrastructure.
- Conducts VOC and stakeholder research for project requests and to define project scope and objectives.
- Solves problems at the detailed level with a strong understanding of data requirements and capabilities, focusing on client uses cases to develop next generation data analytics products.
- Act as a lead on key projects from original concept through final implementation with minimum guidance and make sure to deliver projects to completion on budget, on time and with high user satisfaction rate.
- Data driven approach with ability to establish metrics tracking and identify tactics to improve data quality, data accuracy, data management.
- Ability to resolve data issues through root cause analysis to identify short-term and long-term recommendations for potential remedy or improvement.
- Collaborates with clients and other departments to create detailed data and functional requirements from SMEs and create business requirements, technical and function specifications, and user stories that will help develop our product capabilities.
- Teams with cross-functional departments and act as quarterback to support new analytics development projects for high-profile multi-channel product lines.
- Monitors activities and ensures adherence to company policy and federal laws and regulations.
- Works with other product managers on backlog prioritization, sprint planning and other agile development.
- Create performance metric reports for benchmarking using strong data visualization to provide clear value-added input that management or customers can render actionable insights with the information.
- Tracks ongoing progress and results for products and pilot programs.
- Actively engages in sales enablement activities as a product SME answering questions, supporting to create proposals, and presenting product demos, including products not directly within line.
Qualifications
- 5+ Automotive experience and industry knowledge required, including business analysis and/or product management
- Strong skills with Data Analysis, SQL, DB architecture
- Experience creating robust Tableau or other BI reporting and dashboards
- Familiarity with SAS, R, Python
- Ability to self-start coupled with having a results-driven approach
- Ability to take deep dives into disparate data sets to solve real world business problems
- Experienced with and comfortable in discussing a wide variety of vehicle and consumer credit lifecycle data and products, including permissible uses of DPPA and FCRA regulated data · Preferred exp
