Shokunin is the Japanese term for “master craftsman,” but here it also serves as our playful nod to the sushi chefs and neighborhood spots that shaped California’s dining culture in the 1990s. Our 26-seat restaurant is a small, casual, and vibrant space — the kind of place where the pace is fast, the food is fresh, and the atmosphere is all about good times.

We are looking for a responsible dishwashers who is interested in taking on a new challenge. Shokunin is seeking a dish team who is capable of maintaining clean and dishes stocked and ready to go for our sushi chefs. Assisting the team with ensuring the materials needed for prep are cleaned, maintained, and organized.

Job Duties:
Cleaning, washing all dishes and materials for sushi chefs, ensure all areas are clean and ready for guests. Be able to be adaptive in a small fine dining environment. Hand washing fragile dishware.
