Early Career Apprentice Program
Want to work in your field and train on the job? Join our 12–24-month apprentice program! You will earn and learn on the job, receive career guidance and mentorship, all while attending school. Allstate will also provide tuition assistance and hands-on training in the field of Technology.
This program is designed to help you start and grow your career in technology at Allstate. Here, we drive innovative, on-demand products and services. Your 12 - 24 month program will expose you to projects that have an impact throughout the organization. Through hands-on work, you will gain valuable experience and insight into your field area of Allstate Technology Solutions (ATS). Our apprentice program is designed to prepare you for future technology careers at Allstate.
Location: Remote with the opportunity to visit our office locations if local – Northbrook and Chicago, IL; Irving, TX; Charlotte, NC; Scottsdale, AZ
Start Date(s): August 2025
Job Qualifications
- Education: Must Currently be pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or other relevant fields.
- Candidates selected for prescreening will be required to submit an unofficial transcript.
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Core Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Adaptability: Demonstrates learning agility and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
- Engagement: Desire to actively participate in development workshops and virtual programming events.
Product Engineer Apprentice
As a Product Engineer Apprentice, you’ll work with cutting-edge technologies to build, enhance, and maintain Allstate’s digital solutions. You’ll:
- Develop and optimize software using modern tech stacks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with automation and root cause analysis.
- Apply human-centered design thinking to ensure user-friendly outcomes.
- Design scalable, reliable, and efficient systems.
- Foster collaboration by demonstrating empathy and a passion for engineering excellence.
Service Analysis Apprentice
As a Service Analyst Apprentice, you’ll help maintain Allstate’s operational excellence by supporting processes and enhancing customer experiences. You’ll:
- Analyze incidents and problems, following protocols to minimize disruptions.
- Continuously improve processes by identifying and implementing enhancements.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and manage time to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong active listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Apply customer-centric principles to understand and address customer needs.
