SVS Washroom 2nd Shift | Little Falls

SVS | STRETCH + COAT + DIRECT PRINT + BURN + SPRAY OUT + WASH & RE-USE.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Under the direct supervision of the SVS Supervisor, this position is responsible for maintaining daily work flow for the areas of washroom, burnroom, coating and prep room.

The perfect candidate will possess a strong continuous improvement mindset- always looking for the most efficient and effective way to ensure our SVS area is running smoothly.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4p-2a

A Typical Day (job functions) | Monitor + Guide + Lead + Coordinate

• Ensure team members are appropriately trained in the areas of job responsibility, safety and compliance policy, ensuring standard procedures are being followed
• Help motivate team members to achieve personal and departmental success
• Answer questions and help team with daily work flow
• Continuously monitor work flow in washroom, coating, burn, kitting and stretching rooms
• Understand and utilize production reports and work orders to organize and manage priorities
• Maintains aisles: clear, clean and organized
• Follows the 6S: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain and Safety
• Follows safety practices; identifies problems and works to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs continuously
• Other duties as assigned including special projects

Skills (qualifications) | Assess Needs + Prioritize + Leadership + Effective Communication

• Ability to assess needs and prioritize
• Train the Trainer Program completion preferred but not required
• Ability to communicate effectively and mentor the team
• High school diploma preferred, but not required
• Must be self-directed & self-motivated
• General knowledge of all duties in SVS required
• Ability to diagnose common issues with equipment
• Must work well in a team
• Hours must be flexible, according to workload
• Must be highly organized with ability to work with deadlines and changing priorities
• Ability to be on your feet 8-10 hrs/day
