About the opportunity

We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Community & Partnerships Associate to join our small but mighty marketing team. In this role, your primary focus will be managing relationships with relevant strategic partners, community organizations, and event hosts to generate new leads and drive brand visibility for Sydecar. You will be responsible for developing joint marketing campaigns, managing event logistics, and analyzing the performance of partnership activities and events to continually optimize for maximum impact and ROI.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with the marketing and sales leads to establish strategic alliances with community groups that align with our brand and business goals.

• Develop and maintain relationships with partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

• Collaborate with partners to launch joint marketing campaigns, co-branded content, and promotional activities aimed at maximizing mutual benefits.

• Track and analyze the performance of partnership activities, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

• Coordinate and execute virtual and in-person events.

• Develop event marketing strategies to drive attendance and engagement, including promotional materials and onsite collateral.

• Create and manage timelines and logistics for in-person and virtual events, including registration, check-in, vendor management, etc.

• Execute post-event tasks, including attendee follow-up, delivering necessary collateral or reporting to event partners, and ensuring that attendees are properly reflected in the CRM.

• Conduct post-event analysis to measure ROI based on the event budget, attendees, and engagement.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 3+ years of experience in marketing, partnerships, business development, or a similar role.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building and maintaining strong relationships.

• Strong project management skills and a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and analyze partnership performance and event ROI to inform future strategies.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Bonus if you have

• Experience in the venture capital and startup ecosystem.

• Proficient in the use of CRM software and digital marketing tools.

• Experience in coordinating and managing both virtual and in-person events.
