About the Role
The Senior Associate, Market Operations Support owns execution of multiple strategic initiatives supporting the Operations Excellence priority roadmap within an assigned market or region. The Market Operations Support function drives execution of the Market Operating Plans, Medical Savings Plan and the strategic partner to Market leadership in business execution. This role drives standardization of operations across Markets (by direction of Operations Excellence org), fostering a culture of excellence within markets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
You will assume a diverse set of responsibilities on high-impact projects within Cityblock's North Carolina Market. Your duties will include, but not be limited to, project management, implementation of operational initiatives, and data analysis to support decision-making. You will partner closely with market leadership, as well as Cityblock’s enterprise-level teams.
The ideal candidate learns quickly, takes initiative, and works collaboratively with all team members. You draw insights from data to help inform project work and support the execution of both strategic and operational initiatives. You are comfortable working with a diverse set of stakeholders, with different skill sets and points of view.

Responsibilities:
Develop, monitor, and project manage a variety of initiatives to support the Market, which may include:
Developing new standardized, scalable processes and workflows to address market needs and continuously monitoring performance
Project managing market initiatives
Analyzing value-based care performance data and designing dashboards with the data team to ensure leadership and staff have access to the right data to drive performance
Piloting new market-level initiatives and distilling learnings and applying best practices towards national operations
Owning and improving existing key components of our care model strategy at the market level, including provider visit strategy, member surveys, and other clinical initiatives
Supporting roll-out of national strategic initiative at the hub level
Supporting coordination with local partners and vendors
Requirements for the Role:
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of experience in a healthcare provider setting (health system, hospital, physician practice), value-based operations (ACO, CIN, PHO, or similar organization), insurance or managed care function, healthcare management consulting or related experience
Enjoy doing whatever it takes to execute complex, cross-functional projects
Skilled at working with data and have a track record of answering business questions through meaningful analyses with easy-to-understand outputs and visualizations (using tools like Excel, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
Detail oriented and adopt a process-oriented mindset
Very comfortable with the project planning process, materials, and workflows
Proven track record for working well across diverse teams
Thrive in fast-moving work environments as an independent contributor
Exceptional oral and written communications skills

This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location. The expected salary range for this position is:
$86,000 - $115,000
