Summary:
Responsible for supporting the vendor management and risk monitoring efforts for the Bank. Responsible for the operations oversight of the Third-Party Risk Management Analysts, ensuring all functions performed are compliant and adhere to regulations and company procedures.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field.
Licenses/Certifications: None.
Experience: A minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Functions:
A: Job Specific:
- Performs annual reviews on all vendors.
- Performs due diligence on third parties. Collects and retains documentation as defined in the contract to support sound operations.
- Conducts third-party risk monitoring.
- Transfers all bank contracts and due diligence into appropriate software.
- Gathers necessary documentation to complete due diligence in third-party risk management software.
- Drafts and updates procedures supporting all aspects of the role.
- Supervises TPRM Analyst(s), coordinating work flow, assigning duties and monitoring performance.
- Works with the Third-Party Risk Manager to identify inconsistencies in procedures, policies and practices and formulating a resolution of such matters.
- Acts as a point of contact in the absence of the Third-Party Risk Manager.
- Oversees special projects as assigned. Allocates resources, receives status updates and creates procedures to ensure completion.
- Conducts group meetings as necessary.
- Liaisons with the Human Resources department to identify employee training needs.
- Works with the Human Resources department to identify performance issues, document and create an action plan to correct discrepancies.
- Meets individually with staff members as needed to define expectations, implement a corrective/development plan and coach to achieve optimal performance. Perform on the spot corrections in the event of poor performance or behavior. Work with the Human Resources department to initiate disciplinary action when circumstances warrant.
- Responsible for training and orientation within the department for new employees.
