We are very excited to welcome a new Thai Speaking Accounts Payable Associate to our team!
The role is based in our Budapest GSS (hybrid model combining office & remote work). You’ll join a team of agile, customer-focused thinkers who collaboratively solve difficult business problems.

Job description:

• Validate, approve and post PO and non-PO invoices Calculate VAT, tax and withholding tax.
• Check and verify supplier documentation for compliance with country legal & tax requirements.
• Pay vendors by scheduling payment runs.
• Respond to all vendor enquiries regarding finance and manage exceptions.
• Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including vendors, facilities and colleagues.
• Handle complex issues escalated from analyst level. Escalate it to coordinator level in case no resolution.
• Provide support to P2P team objective.
• Suggest process improvements where possible.
• Other duties as ordered by the direct manager.
• Create and take action on aging and payment-on-time accounts payable reports periodically with special focus on month ends; Ensure the accuracy of the reports.
• Based on the Q-analysis and priorities, cascade the invoice processing priorities to Analysts.
• Check debit balances regularly and ensure payment is received for outstanding credits.
• Prepare periodic analyses of vendor and PIT accounts.
• Ensure SOX compliance and proper reporting for audit purposes. 

Job Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Thai are a must.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in similar field, minimum 1,5 years specifically in Accounts Payables area.
• College graduate or bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or accounting professional equivalent. 
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools.
• A good understanding of general accounting processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and providing high level customer service.
• Being a team player with a can-do-mentality.
• Someone who is independent, reliable, adaptable and eager to learn about systems.
