<h1><span><b><b><b>Job Description Summary</b></b></b></span></h1>Job Description Summary<br/>The Advanced Test Lead Engineer demonstrates accountability for GE engine test technical program management. <br/>In this role you will drive assembly and test readiness by interfacing with engineering to define requirements. <br/>You will work with assembly and instrumentation team to define hardware need dates and identify critical path activities. <br/>You will work with the test team to define test execution needs given specific test requirements.<p></p><p></p><h1><span><b>Job Description</b></span></h1><p><b>Essential Requirements</b></p><p>Own the overall schedule of assembly, instrumentation and test for a given engine test vehicle, work with supply chain and engineering counterparts to resolve problems during all phases of the engine test process.<br/>Ensure compliance to the GE Aviation Engineering Handbook to drive flawless assembly and test execution; drive engine tollgate reviews to ensure requirements are in place and risks to program are understood.<br/>Support engineering and supply chain teams to ensure requirements are in place and understood.<br/>Communicate with leadership on status of test vehicle(s), escalating issues where needed.<br/>Engage broad engineering team to resolve issues as needed.<br/>Participate and present or review in technical and program reviews.<br/>Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects is consistent with engineering policies and procedures.</p><p><br/><b><span>Qualifications/Requirements</span></b></p><p>Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of some years of experience in Engineering).<br/>Experience with design engineering and/or project management.<br/>Strong oral and written English communication skills (Czech optional).</p><p><br/><b>Desired <span>Characteristics </span></b></p><p>Good interpersonal and leadership skill.<br/>Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers.<br/>Good project management skills.<br/>Ability to develop strategies and execute plans with a sense of urgency.<br/> </p><p></p><p></p><h1><span><b><b><b>Additional Information</b></b></b></span></h1><p><b>Relocation Assistance Provided: </b>Yes</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
