As Team Leader, you guide your team of forwarders through daily operations. You’re part of your team: solving challenges, dividing tasks, and stepping in where needed. You’re a hands-on people manager: clear on expectations and big on support. You’re your team's biggest fan, always pushing for growth and keeping them sharp. Strong client relationships? Non-negotiable. You always go beyond expectations. And you do it all in close collaboration with the Business Unit Manager (BUM). 

Requirements

At MPL, we turn knowledge into action. Who are we looking for?  

• You have a bachelor’s degree or the kind of experience to match it.  

• You have solid experience in forwarding (both import & export). 

• Experience as a team lead in the maritime sector? That’s a big plus! 

• You know how to build and motivate a team to work together toward a common goal.

• You live by the motto: nothing was ever achieved without enthusiasm. 

• Communication is key. You’re fluent in both Dutch and English. Knowledge of any other languages is a plus. 

• Problem solving is in your DNA. 

• You’re all about integrity, positivity, and keeping it real. Just like us. 

• You think outside of the container and you’re not afraid to speak up. 

• You're the digital forwarder of the future, working with new technology gives you a boost.
