Job Description

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for receiving and shipping all packages and printed images, maintaining an orderly warehouse, and driving a truck to the Post Office to deliver and receive our mail. This position also requires the individual to go between our locations to transfer materials. The working hours for this role is 9am – 5:00pm.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver daily mail and packages to the correct location. 
  • Load and unload trailers as needed.  
  • Sign for deliveries. 
  • Submit, pack and label packages for delivery in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines. 
  • Keep warehouse clean, safe, and organized, including make room for deliveries of stocked items. 
  • Help other departments when assistance is needed. 
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 months of warehouse experience. 
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record. 
  • Possess or have the ability to receive (within 30 days) the Chauffeur endorsement from the BMV. 
  • Ability to lift 50lbs throughout the day. 
  • Ability to push up to 75lbs throughout the day.  
  • Ability to sit, lift, reach, and squat during the day. 
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours each day 
  • Attention to detail, good organizational skills, works well on a team. 
  • Mail room experience preferred. 

Minimum Education: 

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
