Overview

You are a dynamic Business Intelligence Analyst, interested in challenging the status quo, by having a deep understand of business processes and value drivers, you can act as the intermediary between the business and Data, using a deep understanding of business processes and technology to achieve desired outcomes.

 

Pay Rate: $75,000 – $95,000 based on experience.

Job Highlights:

  • Work with Digital, Data and Business stakeholders to elicit high-level requirements and capture business and end user needs; understand the customer journey, processes, data use, analysis, and quality - and define user requirements. Proactively monitor industry, functional, and technology trends
  • Analyze new and existing processes and propose process improvements that can increase accuracy, efficiency, and/or value
  • Communicate solution tradeoffs to business stakeholders to frame and influence project decisions
  • Identify and analyze business needs and coordinate between stakeholder groups to address them
  • Assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands based on business impact and Digital strategy.
  • Leverage data and facts to identify patterns, using judgment to form conclusions that may challenge conventional wisdom, and focuses on the issues to identify high leverage intervention points and strategies
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner, business, digital and data teams
  • Support business case creation

Responsibilities

  • Develop technical solutions to improve access to data and related reporting.
  • Understand data needs and advise company on technological solutions.
  • Aggregate and analyze various data sets to provide actionable insights.
  • Promote, train, and support Business Intelligence tools and environment within the user community.
  • Identify opportunities for reducing reporting redundancies and drive reporting consistency through both development and stewardship.
  • Creation of dashboards and tools using various data sources to support business functions.
  • Identify and pursue database enrichment and cleansing projects.
  • Update documentation, reports, and maintain training materials associated with the Data Warehouse as well as Business Intelligence.
  • Develop and support analysis of marketing campaigns.
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support to managers and department as needed.
  • Design data warehouse table structures to support business needs.
  • Create system to system data integrations to help synchronize data between systems.
  • Proficiency in extracting and manipulating data using SQL, with a strong focus on data integrity and accuracy
  • Define KPIs and value proposition of the portfolio management platform
  • Accountable for the quality of portfolio analytics & insights and align with relevant Global balanced scorecards across Digital and business areas
  • Continuously explore and identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency in partnership with digital portfolio stakeholders
  • Demo and represent the platform, including to senior leaders who are consumers of platform outputs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or liberal arts
  • 8+ years of work experience of analyzing and interpreting data as a business analyst, business intelligence professional, or similar capacity
  • Highly proficient with Power Platform (Power BI, Apps, Automate and Dataverse), development and administration
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business problems and opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work seamlessly with a variety of personalities, functional disciplines, and levels of seniority.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with fluency switching between drilling down into detailed metrics, synthesizing across disparate data sources and designing / presenting high-level, impactful dashboards which enable executive decision making
  • Strong knowledge of cloud data architecture and development. Having experience with one of the cloud services…. Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
  • Basic Active Directory concepts, security permissions and network troubleshooting.
  • Ability to implement row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models within Power BI
  • Proficiency in data visualization using applications such as QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView/QlikSense
  • Record of achievement in their career to date and with a proven ability to deliver even during times of ambiguity
  • Ability to embrace complex, technical challenges and drive effective change management
  • Ability to effect
