Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Plating Teams operate assigned automated plating machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

This position will be working 3rd shift, sunday through friday morning from 11 pm to 7 am. 

3rd shift receives a 10% shift differential.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate reeling equipment
• Perform quality checks of products and assure good product
• Load change reels
• Must possess the ability to coordinate and move product from one department to another
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling devices
• Ability to take direction and work with other teams

Education / Experience: 

 

• Knowledge of Terminal products, reeling, and plating processes
• Basic arithmetic and the ability to work with alpha-numeric part numbers

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 44 lbs safely & dependably
• Must be able to carry a minimum weight of 44 lbs safely & dependably
• Must be able to push a minimum of 80 lbs safely & dependably
• Must be able to pull a minimum of 80 lbs safely & dependably
