This position will work the overnight shift: 11pm-7:30am, Sunday - Thursday.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor, the Lead Manufacturing Technician, Electrical is responsible for assisting the supervisor on a daily basis.  Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the department in the absence of the supervisor and/or manager.
  • Able to troubleshoot, assess and repair most manufacturing/facilities issues in a timely manner without supervision.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to operate machinery such as lathes, mills, drill presses and all power and hand tools.
  • Ability to instruct lower grade mechanics.
  • Basic to advance knowledge of electrical circuits and PLC’s. 
  • Assists in training other Associates.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance.
  • Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 
  • Electrical Certification and knowledge required. Preference for Journey or Master Electrical certifications.
  • Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to use all standard tools of the trade including electrical test meters.
  • Must have experience working in and around mechanical equipment, preferably in a manufacturing or packaging environment. 
  • High level of organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed.

 

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $34.26 - $42.07*. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.​
