Sr Software Engineer

Overview

T. Rowe Price seeks a Sr. Software Engineer in Owings Mills, MD to:

• Create and maintain complex technical solutions and a suite of next-generation, cloud-native applications.
• Responsible to plan, implement, and develop large-scale, enterprise-level distributed applications in support of Corporate Technology platforms.
• Contribute to all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, solution design, and application development and deployment of applications to production.

Requirements

• The position requires a master’s degree in computer information systems, or a related technical field plus 2+ years exp in developing cloud native applications utilizing Java technologies and development experience using Agile methodologies. 
• 2+ year’s experience in developing microservices using docker containers and with code management practices (Git) and automated CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or Gitlab CI). 
• 2+ years exp using and deploying AWS cloud services like S3, ECS, EC2, Fargate, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Lambda and using relational databases like SQL, Oracle, Postgres and developing using entity framework. 
• 2+ years exp in the development of web applications using Angular / reactJs, HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, JQuery, and Javascript.
• 2+ years exp working on systems with large scale data processing including data ingest, transformation, and distribution utilizing Relay framework

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to three days a week.
