How will you make an impact in this role?
The newly created First line of Defense Financial Crimes Risk Management Center of Excellence (1LOD FCRM COE) provides a holistic, enterprise-wide approach to our financial crimes risk management activities and resides within Global Servicing.
This team is responsible for establishing a robust control foundation for first line of defense FCRM activities across the company globally, including anti-money laundering, sanctions, payments controls, and anti-corruption. The team partners closely with Technology to develop and deploy next generation capabilities that address key gaps and strengthen the first line’s ability to detect and prevent financial crimes across our lines of business. The team works in coordination with the Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) team within the Global Risk & Compliance organization.
Job Responsibilities:
The Manager Assistant role will support the 1LOD FCRM Product & Capabilities Team. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a growing, dynamic team that works across business units to build product capabilities that prevent and detect financial crime.
This individual will work closely with the VP, Product & Capabilities and across the 1LOD FCRM COE team to ensure strategic alignment and timely completion of deliverables. They must also be comfortable with having a very “hands-on” role managing a significant amount of tactical work.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Support the VP, Product & Capabilities with overall deliverables and processes for his team and per the 1LOD FCRM COE office
- Lead planning and logistics for key meetings and business processes, such as staff and strategy meetings, including managing agendas, tracking deliverables, and coordinating activities
- Provide support and oversight for the Product & Capabilities team and for the 1LOD FCRM COE executive office, including tracking of budgets, hiring/headcount, reward and recognition programs, managing the year-end process, etc.
- Manage projects, schedules and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of a variety of deliverables
- Develop and continue to improve internal processes, in coordination with the 1LOD FCRM COE executive office
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 plus years of excellent project management, organizational and process/workflow skills
- Highly organized and structured with strong attention to detail
- High level of integrity with ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to efficiently prioritize, solve problems independently, escalate appropriately, manage tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with exceptional ability to translate ideas and thoughts in written presentations<
