Senior Manager, Model Risk Platform Technology

The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is a global leader in financial market infrastructure, with a large and diverse portfolio of data, products and services. In December 2022, we announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft to migrate our data platform and technology infrastructure to Azure, and to co-create next-generation analytics infrastructure and solutions using products like AzureAI and AzureML.

Front-end engineering: Ship responsive and fluid UIs that make using our product offerings a delight.
Computation Platform: Ship a best-in-class platform that allows for computation of arbitrary workloads at scale
Model development: Ship software that speeds up model construction, validation, diagnosis and deployment, including automating Model Risk Management
Key responsibilities:
Hire and develop diverse and successful engineering teams
Provide technical mentorship and support while letting your team make key decisions and learn from their mistakes
Collaborate with Product Managers to define roadmaps and deliver iteratively
Build a collaborative team environment that prioritizes shipping high-quality software predictably
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent work experience
10+ years shipping software, preferably over the full product development lifecycle
6+ years leading software engineering teams
Essential Skills:
Experience with advanced Python 3 development (Python internals, Python language specificities, security management, …) would be much appreciated.
Experience with Java is desirable
Cloud Development: AWS, Azure, GC (Azure preferred). Experience in Serverless containers and Docker.
Web services development: Python 3
Knowledge in any Document DB and relational DB is a plus
Knowledge in TypeScript, JavaScript with any modern framework: FluentUI, React would be very helpful
CI/CD, Automated testing
Compensation/Benefits Information (New York applicants only):
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $150,000 - $278,600.Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
