 The Digitalisation team in Business Area Wind plays a central role in driving the digital agenda for BA Wind. We strive for a fit-for-future digital landscape that enables data-driven decision making, advanced process automation and innovation by taking full advantage of new information, IT and OT technologies without jeopardising security.

The Digitalisation team is responsible for developing and driving the digital strategy for BA Wind, defining the digital roadmap and working towards a coherent fit-for-future digital landscape. Our team is responsible for driving the overarching digital portfolio for BA Wind and works closely together with the BU digital demand teams in the business units Offshore, Onshore and Solar & Batteries that are responsible for managing the operational digital portfolios on a BU level. 

Your tasks and responsibilities 

As a Demand Architect in the Digitalisation team you design and document the digital environment (people, processes and systems) while we work towards one coherent digital landscape for Business Area Wind. You work in a team of Demand Architects, where each Demand Architect works dedicatedly for one of the business units Offshore, Onshore, Solar and Batteries and/or Staff Functions.

You work closely together with the BU demand and portfolio managers as well as the solution architects in the Vattenfall IT organization and BA Wind Digital Engineering. You identify and define digital opportunities and roadmaps, and ensure the coherence, compliance, and consistency of the digital landscape of BA Wind. 

• Assess how new digital demand impacts the business landscape  (e.g. business capabilities and processes) as well as the digital landscape (applications and systems), within the given domain of the BU/SF. 
• Ensure that business needs are translated towards our supply organisation (IT/OT/external) to ensure the solution direction is in line with our target digital landscape and the (target) ways of working 
• Ensure continuous development of the target landscape (IT/OT), information architecture and application portfolio in line with BA Wind business priority, target operating model, Vattenfall group targets and standards 
• Map and support the definition of the business architecture (value streams, capabilities, organisation, application, strategy, products, etc.) and the associated information architecture (current and target) of the BA/BU/SF in close alignment with solution architects and other key stakeholders in BA Wind and Vattenfall IT 
• Implement Architecture Governance decisions and follow-up on architecture compliance 
• Provide architectural guidance towards initiatives in the digital portfolio regarding scope, priorities, roadmap fit and strategic importance. 
• Perform & contribute to architecture reviews (ITAS) for digital initiatives within the scope of the BA/BU/SF digital portfolio 
• Drive architecture maturity and be part of the architecture community

Our team works hybrid and is located in our offices in Amsterdam, but also Hamburg and Stockholm.
