Job Summary:

Provides physician services with information to determine appropriate clinical staff compensation. Works with ambulatory leadership monitoring business trends to ensure plans and objectives are achieved. Conducts ongoing consolidated performance reporting and variance analysis and recommends solutions to address variances. Works collaboratively with system leaders to ensure physician services annual operating plans are aligned with system goals.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
  • Five years' technical experience: Preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Monitors budget throughout the year. Makes recommendations to management on areas of opportunity and efficiency. Performs a variety of complex duties requiring specialized or knowledge. Recommends to leadership clinical compensation for physician services staff.
  • Collaborates with physician services leaders on development of the annual forecast of compensation plans for ambulatory clinical staff. Prepares complex management reports, ensuring long-range success.
  • Makes recommendations on new processes, tools and services. Supports and contributes to development of new products, services or techniques. Solves complex escalated operational problems and technical issues. Performs detailed analysis and performance tracking/analysis for physician services initiatives.
  • Collaborates with market departments and staff to perform physician services analysis. Works with minimal guidance to solve complex issues related to physician services clinical staff compensation plans. Performs monthly financial functions on a regular basis with medical groups.
  • Works collaboratively with cross functional teams and other shared services departments. Leads and mentors physician services analysts and associate analysts with projects.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
