Title: Community Partnerships Manager
Location: Bronx, N.Y
Reports: Director of Partnerships
Pay Range: $75,000 -75,000 per year
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Status: Full time (35 hours per week)
Role Summary: The Community Partnerships Manager develops and maintains a strong network of housing and employment partners to support rapid and stable placements for clients. This role builds relationships with landlords, brokers, housing organizations, employers, and workforce programs, manages centralized housing and employment opportunity databases, and serves as the internal expert on housing subsidies and navigation. The Manager also coordinates community outreach and events such as fairs, workshops, and resource sessions to expand access to housing, employment, and support services. This position combines partnership development, housing systems knowledge, and community engagement to advance the organizations mission of promoting stability, opportunity, and self-sufficiency.
Primary Job Responsibilities/Duties:
· Build, manage, and expand partnerships with landlords, brokers, property managers, housing organizations, employers, and workforce development programs to strengthen both housing and employment pipelines.
· Conduct proactive outreach to identify new housing units and employment opportunities, maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with partners across sectors.
· Develop and regularly update centralized databases for housing vacancies and employment opportunities, ensuring accurate eligibility criteria, availability, and contact information.
· Serve as subject matter expert for NYC housing subsidies and vouchers (CityFHEPS, Section 8, FHEPS, HASA, SOTA, supportive housing)
· Collaborate with internal teams to match clients to appropriate housing and employment opportunities, providing troubleshooting support for placement barriers
· Plan, organize, and execute community-facing events including housing and employment fairs, workshops, and resource sessions, while managing a calendar of outreach and engagement activities.
· Deliver or coordinate educational workshops covering tenant rights, financial literacy, employment readiness, landlord expectations, and community resources.
· Represent the organization at community meetings, public forums, partner events, and collaborative housing/employment networks to strengthen visibility and partnerships.
· Support department-wide and agency-wide events such as community initiatives, resource drives, celebrations, and volunteer-driven programming.
· Maintain comprehensive documentation of all housing and employment partnerships, opportunities, communications, and placement progress.
· Prepare monthly reports summarizing housing and employment partnerships, vacancy pipelines, placement outcomes, and community engagement activities.
· Ensure compliance with organizational policies, program guidelines, and documentation standards.
