About the role:

The Supply Chain Manager will provide leadership, direction and hands on involvement while managing personnel and processes involved in the Supply Chain, which could include production planning, purchasing, inventory and order management.  The successful candidate will provide leadership on process improvement for the optimization of quality, delivery and cost via action planning and Veralto Enterprise System (VES) lean tools.

This position is part of the senior leadership team supporting operations located in Ames, IA and will be onsite each day.  

In this role, you will:

• Establish and maintain supply system to ensure uninterrupted supply of required materials

• Continuously coach, train, and develop your team to achieve performance objectives  

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports that analyze Key Performance Data (KPI) data

• Enlist all associates in the commitment to excellence by communicating appropriate business information in a timely manner and conducting regular team meetings

• Lead in planning processes and overall inventory management to optimize inventory (IMAG), OTD, Work Order Completion and order fulfillment

• Lead with action plans, root cause and countermeasures for KPIs and Policy Deployment (PD) objectives

• Participate in and/or facilitate kaizen or improvement projects

• Effectively solve problems and participate in Daily Management at Gemba

Are you qualified?  

• 3-5 years leadership experience (project teams, staff supervision, etc.) required

• BA/BS Degree; Physical Science, Engineering or Business degree preferred

• 5+ years of Supply Chain or Operations experience required

• Extensive (specialist level) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience (Oracle or Systems, Applications & Products in Data Processing (SAP)) required

• Demonstrated success collaborating to lead change across organizations using effective communication skills across varying levels required

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
