Overview of Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to support Amex GBT's intranet platform. The role requires previous experience in supporting corporate intranet platforms (Jive, Unily, LumApps etc) and stakeholder management and engagement. The ideal candidate will be a team player with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as a tech savvy ace project manager that is nimble when things change direction. Get ready to make impressions that will last. As part of the Products & Technology team, you will also play an important role in supporting the various Corporate applications as needed.

What You'll Do:
- Solution, design and implement the features on Customer Identity using Okta, Java, NodeJS/Deno etc.
- Contributing to Platforms and Application Strategy and Roadmap
- Lead high level designs and prototyping initiatives
- Plan the refactoring and re-architecting of existing software
- Lead developers in the design of new software products
- Work with developers to identify and create common reusable components
- Participate in software release and post-release activities, including developing designs for proof of concepts.
- Ensure development standards and consistency of specifications across sub-systems
- Write and/or review deliverables, solution blueprints, and architecture documentation
- Establish key metrics and performance indicators to track health and success of Platforms and Applications.
- Collaborate with other teams on implementation and/ or upgrade needs
- Provide introductions and training to users of all different levels (including average users, content owners, news authors). Passionate about user experience
- Work with Application teams on product upgrades and relevance of features in our environment
- Day to day Care and feed of the GBT Intranet system including managing support tickets with the platform provider, excluding the L1 type tickets
What We're Looking For:
- 12 years of experience in architecture, design, development of software systems at scale.
- Excellent knowledge of industry standard authentication and authorization protocols including OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, FIDO, WebAuthn, JWT.
- Excellent knowledge on various OAuth2 grant types.
- Hands-on full-stack development across a variety of technologies and platforms across all tiers.
- Experience in Java, NodeJS, ReactJS, REST API, Integrations, Microservices.
- Prior experience in building highly scalable, cloud-native micro services applications in cloud using technologies Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Node.js, Java, NoSQL, RDBMS databases.
- Knowledge in Okta and other Identity systems is a plus.
- Experience working on mobile and responsive web development is preferred.
- Expertise with scalable web technologies.
- Expertise with current software design principles and concepts
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Exceptional problem solving, analysis, design, and testing skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with entire software development lifecycle (Agile, SDLC, Iterative)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and positive attitude to achieve tight deadlines
- Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
- BS in Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education/experience; advanced degree preferred
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies
- Experience or Knowledge in iOS Swift and Android is a plus.
- Time zone agnostic. Experienced in and understands the complexities with communicating to colleagues in a global, matrixed organization

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $85,000 to $170,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Award plan, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance. For
