About the role

GEICO currently has an opening for a Senior Director based at GEICO’s Corporate Headquarters located in Chevy Chase, Maryland.  

Responsibilities:

  • Managing employment litigation including class and collective actions and EEOC matters.

  • Advising the HR function and company management on employment matters.

  • Assisting with internal investigations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a corporate legal department (or equivalent experience in a law firm). 

  • Candidates must have graduated from an accredited law school and be admitted to a state bar.

  • Preferable located in the Maryland/Virginia/Washington, DC metro area

Candidates must have:

  • The ability to handle a considerable volume of work and to work under pressure with multiple/shifting deadlines.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • The ability to solve problems and to work well individually and as a team member.
