Department: Public Works Grade: 280 Salary: $34.88/hourJob Duties 

• Responsible for handling various County projects
• Works closely with team members of Public Works and Facilities Management to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track; submits project deliverables, prepares status reports, and establishes effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of said plans, as well as monitor financial transactions of the projects and keep track of budgets.
• Coordinates with contracting officers and contract representative to direct and monitor contractors’ efforts to ensure compliance with all aspects of the projects will also be the responsibility of the Special Project Manager.
• Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.

 Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management or other related field.
• Two  year project management preferred.
• Must possess/maintain valid Missouri Driver’s License.
• Must submit to/pass pre-employment drug screen/background check.
