Tasks and Qualifications:
Lead projects in AMCS region, report to Senior Director, and drive project success with a team.
- Manage the execution of a portfolio of projects within the assigned sub-region, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Lead and develop a team of project management professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Establish and nurture positive relationships with key internal collaborators within the assigned sub-region.
- Implement and enforce project management methodologies and standards within the assigned sub-region.
- Support the Senior Director in managing project budgets and forecasts.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, contributing to the development and implementation of risk mitigation plans.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and standards.
- Serve as a key partner to the Commercial team, supporting their efforts to secure new business and grow existing accounts within the assigned sub-region.
Experience Desired
- 10+ years of progressive experience in project management.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing a team of project professionals.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong team building and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of project professionals.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Ability to develop detailed project schedules inclusive of all in-scope engineering, manufacturing, installation, and integration schedule activities.
- Experience with personnel planning, budgeting/forecasting, project planning, document control, materials management, and contract management.
- Experience in using project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Smartsheet, and SAP.
- Knowledge of the material handling industry is a plus.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
