WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Product Management Leader to join our team, leading product for Braze’s infrastructure teams. Product Management teams at Braze build the product roadmap for a given product area, and work closely with engineers and product designers to bring new products to life. 

You’ll lead product management for Braze’s Base Product division, which owns critical product and technology areas that are essential to the company's continued growth. You’ll be responsible for building and leading product management for teams that run many of the core user workflows that Braze customers use to send billions of messages every day, spanning orchestration, user targeting, data ingestion, reporting, and more. Product areas range from our flagship journey creation product Canvas, to our AI Predictive Suite, to our User Segmentation offerings.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead teams to design and develop the product roadmap for the Braze Base Product division, ensuring that we are building the right products to support our growing customer-base
  • Deeply understand our customers, market, and technology environment. Braze operates in a rapidly evolving technology ecosystem, and staying on top of the landscape in which we operate is a key responsibility for product managers
  • Collaborate closely with Designers, Engineers, UX Researchers, Product Managers, and Product Marketing counterparts across the business to scope effective solutions and ensure that we’re building excellent products

WHO YOU ARE

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience. Given the technical nature of the Infrastructure product domain, experience as an engineer will also be considered
  • 3+ years of experience as a manager of PMs
  • Experience hiring and coaching a team of PMs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and leadership skills, particularly the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and balance multiple projects and priorities at once
  • Experience at a high-growth technology company
  • Experience working on high-scale technical products

BONUS

  • Experience in enterprise SaaS
  • Experience at a high-scale technology company (we operate at the scale of billions of users)
  • Experience working on marketing technology or customer engagement products
  • Software engineering experience
  • Experience as a CEO / CTO / CPO

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $248,000 and $352,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $310,000 and $370,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
