The Fleet & HR Specialist is a critical partner to the NA Market Operations HR Team through leadership and management of Fleet & HR work processes, policies, and projects. The NA Fleet Program serves over 1,000 employees across the US and Canada, providing support to individuals in selling roles who have a need for routine, local business travel. Fleet Program participants may be in a Company Car or enrolled in our Driver’s Choice program which allows use of a personal vehicle for business use. P&G’s Fleet Program recognizes unique business needs and differentiation of work across selling organizations, and ensures employees in eligible roles have appropriate means of transportation as a tool for their jobs.

The Fleet & HR Specialist role provides support to the US and Canada Fleet Policy Leaders, as well as to Sales HR Partners, HRAs, and employees across the Sales organization. You will be part of a robust and supportive NA MO HRA community.
 

The Fleet & HR Specialist is responsible for initiating, performing, and maintaining end-to-end US Fleet Program business processes, and will play a critical role in strengthening Fleet processes & systems to deliver a superior experience to drivers and HR Partners:

  • Fleet Operations & Driver Communication - Lead operational process associated with the US Fleet Program, including but not limited to day-to-day interactions with employees, driver enrollment, purchase/sale of Fleet vehicles, and matters related to fuel cards, fines, and toll management.
  • Vendor Management - Manage relationship with Fleet Management Company, serving as key P&G contact and partnering with P&G stakeholders to troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed. Provide feedback to vendors as needed to continuously maintain and improve quality of service.
  • Fleet Policy Expertise - Apply expertise of Fleet policy to coach and advise HR Partners and employees on appropriate interpretation and application. Serve as primary HR resource on Fleet inquiries.
  • Payroll, Finance & Purchasing - Lead reporting to enable accurate payments to vendors and Fleet drivers. Support requests and reporting for POs, invoicing, and reconciliation, resolving complex issues as needed. Support budget preparation and lead quarterly reviews with Policy Owner & Finance.
  • Process Ownership & Improvement - Own Fleet systems and processes, identifying systemic issues, initiating improvements, and executing action to drive efficiency and strengthen service to all stakeholders.

In this role, the Fleet & HR Specialist will also own additional critical HR projects, and be responsible for day-to-day work systems and tasks to support the NA Market Operations organization.

Job Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following skills & experiences:

  • High School degree or equivalent required

  • Operational excellence with HR systems and processes

  • Customer Service mind-set

  • Demonstrated analytical skills & intermediate proficiency with Microsoft office

  • Experience and learning agility in operating systems and processes, with ability to integrate data from multiple sources, create Excel reports/Charts and analyze it to enable decision making and improve processes and systems (i.e., works “on the process” not just “in the process”)

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities: Must be responsive to requests/concerns while working against deadlines of the various seasonal processes, and deadlines for other projects and have a high capacity to handle the number and types of requests

  • Solutions Oriented: This role requires strong problem-solving ability and clear resolution via written and/or verbal communication Steward for the Company and employee advocate, with a positive outlook that focuses on possibilities.  Ability to communicate expectations and clear outcomes when outlining a process

  • Must live within commuting distance as no relocation benefit is provided
