Director of DevOPS (P2030) 

The Platform Services Team, Middleware Services, and Product Support Teams sit within the DevOps team. The role of the team is to provide support, administration, and thought leadership for the products and services that serve our external customers as well as ones that serve and support our internal customers across the business. The Director role will provide day to day direction to a team of technical specialists and thought leadership to the company on one or more technology solutions assigned to their team. This role may be called on to assist and/or lead large client and operations related projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use Scrum/Agile methodologies and DevOps principles combined with the latest in internal and external technologies to deliver value to internal and external customers.
• Provide problem resolution for referred incidents from the Service Desk and other technology teams.
• Responsible for meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets, and collaboratively ensure team targets are met.
• Ensure all changes to Production systems are planned and approved in accordance with the Change Management process.
• Responsible for all team roadmaps and documentation
• Responsible for all efficiency and innovation projects for the team.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or MIS
• 5 or more years’ experience providing 2nd and/or 3rd line support in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to solve problems and work to tight deadlines while under pressure.
• Ability to lead a technical group in solving problems and moving infrastructure forward.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passionate about technology.

• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
