Food Services Officer (507964)

The Role:

In accordance with Agency policies, procedures, and guidelines, assist with food preparation, production, plating service, ware-washing, and cleaning duties in the provision of catering services to patients, visitors, and staff of the hospital.

• Assist in maintaining a high standard of food preparation, service, meal distribution, ware-washing, and cleaning of the hospital service areas and in accordance with the relevant codes of practice.
• Check patient identification is correct prior to delivering/distributing meals and observe all dietary restrictions allocated to patients.
• Perform receipt and storage duties associated with food supplies in line with food safety guidelines.
• Perform general food preparation, service and menu related duties.

Details of appointment:

Multiple permanent, part time, shift worker positions, working up to 30 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: 

$57,130 to $59,443 pro rata per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
