Weekend News Producer (NE)

Creative, passionate, competitive; three traits we’re looking for when it comes to our producers at WGHP-TV.  You’ll be taking over our weekend one-hour long newscasts and filling in as a producer during the week.   You need to be a self-starter and quick learner ready to work with a passionate newsroom.  Journalism now matters more than ever before and you can be a part of telling the news in the Piedmont-Triad.

Requirements:

• Journalism degree
• Knowledge of AP Style
• Some tv news producing knowledge
• Good communicator and collaborator

Duties:

• Produce and write newscast
• Work with anchors on presentation
• May be asked to fill-in on other shifts
