Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

 

The Project Engineer reports to the Engineering Supervisor and is responsible for executing capital projects, including, developing scope, schedule, and budget documents for projects and managing engineers, contractors, and other resources during the project.  The Project Engineer also partners with maintenance and reliability teams to develop PM strategies, conduct root‐cause analyses, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
