Performs selected and delegated nursing tasks in the care of patients. Completes patient physical assessment. Performs and/or delegates patient treatments as ordered by Provider and participates in education plan for patient/family.Job DescriptionI. Major Responsibilities:
1. Assesses and obtain a patients basic health status, records, and related data according to standard procedure and needs of patient and their families.
2. Administers medications, performs treatment as ordered, and operates equipment according to policy and procedure.
3. Performs venipuncture using aseptic technique, 12 lead EKGs, and administers vaccinations.
4. Participates in implementation and evaluation of care plan including long and short-term goals, nursing actions, and teaching.
5. Documents patient care according to standard procedure. Records and reports observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in patient condition to Provider and/or RN and assists in analyzing and interpreting patient data.

1. Complies with established departmental policies, procedures.
2. Attends variety of meetings, conferences, seminars as required or directed.
3. Participates in use of Quality Improvement in daily operations.
4. Complies with all health and safety regulations and requirements.

6. Maintains, regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
