Regional Maintenance Manager

Description

• Partner  with the Regional Manager to ensure the Regional Maintenance operations are meeting expectations.
• Develop  maintenance team members; assist in the management of regional portfolio  maintenance personnel, including onboarding, regular training, scheduling  work assignments, associate training and development; make recommendations      regarding hiring and termination.
• Conduct  and document weekly safety meetings, including procedures, training, safety equipment, and use of equipment.
• Assist  maintenance teams on day-to-day operations when there is a shortage or  need. Assistant to include but not limited to; work orders, apartment  turns, repairs, and any additional items that may arise. 
• Set up  and organize all new maintenance shops along with a maintenance checklist  for each new community. 
• Work with the Regional Manager to assist with implementing programs to maximize  revenue, control expenses, and improve resident satisfaction.
• Develop a scope of work for any regional-wide projects.
• Manage and verify all regional vendor contracts (costs, scope compliance, etc.) and manage any regional vendors on-site day to day. This includes pricing out regional contracts per the scope of work.
• Manager pricing out contracts for snow removal and facilitating overall operations for snow removal. 
• Maintain accurate records for all regional services performed and contracts.
• Manage  and ensure the physical condition of the property is maintained and  contributes to BREG’s annual business goals, including but not limited to walking the properties weekly to uphold curb appeal, common area  maintenance, upkeep, and monitor safety issues.
• Inspect regional portfolio grounds, buildings, and apartment homes on a regular basis to ensure that all physical aspects of the community are fully functional at all times.

Requirements

Must have CFC/EPA 608 certification 

Must have a valid driver’s license 

Must have reliable transportation

Must have own tools

Must have OSHA 30 Training 

Minimum 7 years’ experience in residential maintenance
