<p>Executive Director DACH Coverage and/or Nordic Coverage</p> <p>Location: Frankfurt or Stockholm</p> <p><span>J.P. Morgan’s Green Economy Banking team was launched in 2021 to support the development and growth of exciting companies at the forefront of the energy transition that are advancing decarbonization through innovative technologies in sectors including Renewable Energy, Efficiency Technology, Clean Mobility &amp; Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging, Energy Transition Enablers, Agriculture &amp; Food Technology and Sustainable Finance. </span><span>The Green Economy Banking team has seen significant growth since its establishment in Europe back in 2023 and it currently comprises of a half a dozen of coverage bankers who focus on covering clients and prospects across EMEA.</span></p> <p><span>The group provides holistic banking services, including strategic Mergers &amp; Acquisitions (M&amp;A) discussions, equity and debt capital raising, </span><span>financing </span><span>and traditional banking products to companies across the climate transition space. </span><span>As part of the Corporate &amp; Investment Bank</span><span>, the Green Economy team sits within the Mid-Cap banking franchise and is able to support clients across their growth trajectory from early-stage venture capital backed clients through to mid-cap publicly traded companies with revenues up to $2bn. </span></p> <p><span>The Green Economy Banking team is part of a multi-faceted eco-system at J.P. Morgan that focuses broadly on the client coverage of companies taking an active role in the energy transition across EMEA, whilst supporting J.P. Morgan’s commitment to building a more sustainable and inclusive economy including through the acceleration of the transition to low-carbon world.</span></p> <p><span><strong> </strong></span></p> <p><span><strong>Job Summary </strong></span></p> <p><span>As a</span><span>n </span><span>Executive Director in the Green Economy Banking team, you will be an experienced banker capable of promoting business independently focused on the DACH and/or Nordic markets. You will have proven client relationship skills and an ability to call at the Chief Executive </span><span>Officer (CEO) / Chief </span><span>Financial Officer (CFO) level. Strong corporate finance, credit, and transaction execution skills are required. Investment Banking experience is ideal. Prior banking experience in European Union (EU) markets is preferred, with strong knowledge of the local market</span><span>s</span><span>. For DACH coverage, role will be based in Frankfurt; whilst for Nordic coverage, it will be based out of Stockholm.</span></p> <p><span><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Identify and originate new business </span>for climate transition clients in the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and / or Nordic regions</li> <li>Initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects to generate ongoing corporate finance, <span>financing and </span>treasury services opportunities</li> <li><span>Manage complex, multi-product client relationships as the primary relationship manager</span></li> <li><span>Support the execution of transactions, including M&amp;A advisory, leveraged finance, and capital markets deals, and coordinate with internal teams, including credit, legal, and compliance</span></li> <li>Proactively market clients and prospects; represent <span>J.P. Morgan’s </span>Green Economy Banking team in the local banking and business communities and develop a network of referral sources</li> <li>Become an integral part of J.P. Morgan’s broader clean energy and ESG ecosystem and establish oneself as the local champion on these topics</li> <li>Strictly comply with all regulatory and JPMC rules, policies, and procedures</li> </ul> <p><span><strong>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Extensive experience as a Client / Relationship Manager selling corporate finance or commercial banking products and services, or coming from a Markets Coverage background</li> <li>Knowledge of the European Green Economy sector (DACH and Nordic experience highly preferred)</li> <li>Knowledge and experience in Investment Banking is highly preferred</li> <li>Ability to demonstrate extensive leadership abilities in financial services sales and business development</li> <li>Solid credit, analytical, and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Excellent oral and written communications abilities</li> <li>Knowledge of credit, corporate finance, treasury, investment banking, and other banking products; preferably with execution experience</li> <li>Self-motivated, dependable and intelligent</li> <li>Candidate must be a top individual contributor, with a strong performance track record</li> </ul> <p><span><strong>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>MBA or equivalent preferred</span></li> </ul> <p></p> J.P.
