Role and Responsibilities 

• Associate’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and experience in IT.
• 7 years of experience in enterprise RDBMS Database administration with large-scale, mission-critical applications (Microsoft SQL Server 2012+).
• Experience with Database Server c and Optimization tools.
• Experience managing database backup, restore and data archiving tasks.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server security best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of AlwaysOn, Transactional Replication, Clustering and T-SQL.
• Experience with implementing database upgrades.
• Experience with Database PAAS solutions in a cloud solution.
• Experience with CI CD process and setup from database end.
• Scripting knowledge for automating day to day tasks (Shell script, Power shell).
• Knowledge on Azure Data Factory.
• Knowledge on ETL data warehouse architecture.
• Working experience on CDC tools & replication.
• Installs, Patches, upgrades, and maintains the system health

Preferred Qualification

• Certifications in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with T SQL scripts and Batches.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS/SSAS).
• Knowledge on No SQL databases like Cosmos DB or Mongo DB.
