The selected candidate will be a shared resource for the Government Finance (GO) and Financial Institutions (FI) divisions of the Statistics department (STA) and will report to the Division Chiefs of both divisions. The selected candidate will perform the full range of administrative tasks assigned to him/her, processing IMF02 mission-related documents such as briefing papers, and back-to-office and technical assistance reports. The successful candidate will work as part of a team and collaborate closely with all STA divisions, as well as Area departments, Short-Term experts, Long-Term experts, and Regional Training Centers staff. He/she will be responsible for the timeliness and quality of the work assigned.

Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to interact effectively with staff at all grade levels.
Good communications skills, both orally and in writing, and strong editorial skills.
Proven ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
Strong drive for results, including the ability to anticipate and avert potential difficulties.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Nexus, and knowledge of CDMAP would be a plus.
Knowledge of French and/or Spanish would be desirable.
He/she should also be willing to occasionally work overtime, sometimes at short notice.
Minimum qualification:
Educational development, typically acquired by the completion of a high school diploma, or equivalent, supplemented by a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, is required. No previous experience would be required for those who have completed a university degree.
