Job Description

The Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center (OCCIC) is looking for a Senior Consumer Recovery Specialist to join their team. Located in the OKC metro, OCCIC provides non-hospital emergency intervention for adults dealing with mental health, substance abuse, or co-occuring issues. This position will be responsible providing leadership to direct care staff at both facilities, at their sister facility, the Oklahoma Crisis Recovery Unit, on a rotating basis. In addition to providing guidance and leadership, this position will encourage communication between staff and units at both facilities, conduct chart audits, and fulfill direct care job duties as needed.

Job Type/Salary:

  • Full-time position

  • Annual Salary is $37,627.20

  • FLSA Status: Nonexempt

Minimum Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience substituting four years of relevant experience for the required bachelor's degree.

  • Preference may be given for participation in the DMHSAS-sponsored Consumer Recovery Specialist certificate program.

Special requirements: 

  • Requires the possession of a valid U.S. drivers license at the time of appointment

  • Willing to fulfill any job related travel normally associated with this position

  • May be required to obtain a Case Management I certification
