As a Trading implementation Analyst in Asset Management Operations, you will be responsible for (a) implementing equity trades for discretionary strategies, (b) ensuring the accuracy of investment data used within the portfolio implementation process, (c) delivering model portfolios to sponsoring intermediaries for non-discretionary strategies, and (d) working with internal partners to improve the scalability and efficiency of the business. If you are intellectually curious, detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills, and have a passion for participating in the investment process, you may be the perfect fit for our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Trade discretionary Managed Accounts across a variety of investment strategies
- Review client accounts for model drift and strategy deviation
- Monitor and update models for non-discretionary platforms
- Research and respond to specific account inquiries in a timely manner
- Partner with Portfolio Managers, and Client Service and Technology teams to resolve issues and improve scale and efficiency
- Participate in the planning and development of new business processes
- Support a culture of continuous improvement by defining, documenting, and implementing process improvements
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 2 years’ relevant work experience
- Familiarity with the implementation of Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) portfolios
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with ability to meet tight deadlines
- Effective communicator with strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to lead discussions and influence people
- Inclusive leadership skills, with ability to work independently and collaborate amongst the team
- Client service mindset, providing timely responses to internal clients
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Process improvement and implementation experience
- Ability to manage concurrent assignments effectively and efficiently
- Ability to navigate a complex organization involving numerous groups and individuals
- Experience working alongside portfolio managers, client service and technology teams
- Adaptable to changing environments
Work schedule
- This hybrid role requires going into the office three days a week with two days' flexibility to work from home, subject to change
