SW Engineer – Service Reliability Product Development

We are looking for a software engineer with application design and development experience who will take ownership and lead the engineering responsibility for multiple components in a project. The Work itself:

• Clarifies and documents requirements, communicates them to the team.
• Partners with experienced staff to understand product interactions.
• Learns and implements reusable code for assigned components.
• Applies coding patterns, guidelines, and best practices.
• Understands basic security assessment to ensure safe code.
• Uses debugging tools to respond to issues in product features.
• Participates in code reviews for learning and feedback.
• Applies coding standards and assists with pull requests.
• Executes test plans to identify and resolve defects.
• Supports testing configuration and interprets results.
• Identifies and contains software defects to reduce impact.
• Uses developer tools to create, debug, and maintain code.
• Applies assigned methods and explores other tools.
• Engages in training to improve product reliability and performance.

• Experience building RESTful services using Python.
