Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- 5-10 years of experience in building trade related field preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of the building trades. (Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC).
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Previous project management experience required.
Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements:
May require some evening and weekend hours. Some travel required. Valid driver’s license.
Tasks Performed:
- 25% Daily management of Capital Expenditure program related to facilities projects.
- 20% Assist in planning and development of cost estimates for budgeting purposes.
- 20% Develop and maintain capital expenditure tracking for review monthly.
- 20% Provides project management for special projects.
- 10% Work with maintenance personnel on various projects as required. May require moving large objects and heavy lifting.
- 5% Other duties as assigned.
