Executive Assistant
Tandem Technology, Inc.About the role
Why you should join us
Tandem is a generational opportunity to rethink how we bring new therapies to market, and our path to doing so is significantly de-risked – we have:
Exponential organic growth: We have product-market fit and are growing rapidly through word-of-mouth. Tandem supports thousands of patients every day, is doubling doctor users every quarter, and is working with the largest biopharma companies in the world.
An AI-first business model: Our approach is distinctly enabled by AI, but our business will get stronger (not commoditized) as foundation models improve. We are building durability through two-sided network effects that will compound over time.
Top tier investors: With the traction to support conviction in our model, we raised significant funding from investors (including Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Bain Capital Ventures, and Pear VC) to build an exceptional team of engineers and operators.
Our number one priority is scaling to market demand. We are looking for individuals who are high horsepower, high throughput, and hyper resourceful to help us increase capacity and grow. We move fast and need to move faster.

About the role
We are looking for a high-trust, high-output Executive Assistant to support our CEO and help Tandem operate at maximum velocity. You will play a critical role in managing communication, driving focus, and translating priorities into coordinated action across the company. This is not just about optimizing one person’s time; it is about amplifying the speed and clarity of the entire executive function.
You will manage the CEO’s calendar and inbox, help oversee follow-ups and decisions across all major workstreams, and act as a trusted right hand in internal and external settings. You will also help coordinate and guide the work of others on the team to unblock decisions, close loops, and ensure the company moves in sync.
This role requires exceptional judgment, communication, and organizational skill. You will be exposed to every major initiative at Tandem and will build deep context across our product, growth, and operations efforts. Over time, you will be trusted with increasingly strategic coordination and internal leadership.
This is a demanding role, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. You will be expected to "act like an owner" and commit yourself to Tandem's success. If you are low-ego, hungry to learn, and excited about intense, impactful work that drives both company growth and accelerated career progression, we want to hear from you.
If you join, you will:
Manage the CEO’s inbox by drafting, prioritizing, and handling communication flow with near-complete autonomy
Own the calendar by planning schedules with speed and judgment, and protecting time for what matters most
Track key decisions, conversations, and follow-ups to ensure nothing slips through the cracks
Prepare agendas, briefings, and materials for high-stakes meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate priorities and execution across multiple teams on behalf of the CEO
Guide and support the work of others when needed to help close loops, resolve bottlenecks, and accelerate progress
Handle logistics, travel, and personal planning as needed to keep the executive function running smoothly
We’ll be most excited if you have:
3-10 years of experience in an executive assistant, chief of staff, or high-stakes personal support role
Exceptional communication skills that are clear, concise, and able to represent someone else’s voice
High emotional intelligence and discretion, with the ability to be trusted with sensitive conversations and relationships
Proven ability to operate autonomously. You do not wait for instructions; you anticipate them
Strong prioritization skills and personal organization. You manage ambiguity without dropping details
Experience in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment such as startups, investing, media, or operations
Willingness to take on both high-level strategic coordination and low-level logistics when needed
High NPS with your former executives and teammates
