Fortum development studios support the digital product lifecycle from initial innovation to the continuous development phase. We work with a wide range of applications from mobile apps and customer portals to complex AI utilizing business systems.</p> <p> </p> <p>The team consists of software developers, tech leads and agile coaches, and we also collaborate with partners to match the business needs. This role is a part of the international and multi-disciplinary Business IT team. The team's scope is to provide services for various business purposes across Fortum.</p> <p> </p> <p>Responsibilities of the role include:</p> <ul> <li>People and service management, fostering tech community and culture</li> <li>Supporting businesses to utilize digital development competence</li> <li>Ensure effective resourcing of projects and services with either internal or external resources</li> <li>Competence development including new employees’ recruitment and onboarding process</li> <li>Coach development teams and empower team members for better performance </li> <li>Vendor collaboration and management</li> <li>Ensure that the solutions follow the Fortum policies and guidelines regarding architecture, development practices, privacy, cybersecurity, etc</li> <li>Drive awareness of digitalization opportunities and agile methods inside Fortum, share experiences of increased value and the success stories </li> <li>Continue building our community and culture</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>We’re looking for a new team member to join us in Espoo Finland, but we work flexibly in a hybrid model that adapts to both your professional and personal needs.</p> <p> </p> <p>About you<br/> We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in digital development, agile methods and leadership. You inspire others, promote innovative technologies, and communicate well in an international business environment. Strong organizational and operational management skills make you perfect for this role.<br/>  </p> <p>To succeed in this role you have: </p> <ul> <li>+8 years of experience in digital development and agile methods</li> <li>Leadership experience, ability to inspire and motivate people</li> <li>Interest and enthusiasm to promote innovative technologies and smarter ways of working</li> <li>Excellent people and communication skills</li> <li>Solid operational management skills and experience in working in an international context</li> <li>Well-organized and structured working style </li> <li>Good knowledge of IT processes and methodologies</li> <li>Ability to assess business needs and apply industry knowledge    </li> <li>Vendor management experience</li> <li>Strong oral and written communication skills in English</li> <li>Knowledge and certifications of Azure, AWS, DevOps, software development or Agile area are an advantage</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>We offer you<br/> We offer you a continually changing and evolving business and industry environment to challenge and improve your leadership skills.
