Job Description
GTM & Content Activation Lead (Associate Director)
Role Purpose
The GTM & Content Activation Lead (Associate Director) is a hands-on capability leader responsible for activating and scaling global/enterprise content platforms, standards, and ways of working to enable USBU & OBU marketing and medical content needs—including content creation enablement, faster and more consistent review practices, and guidelines that support content lifecycle transformation (intake → creation → review/approval → storage → reuse → activation → measurement). This role drives adoption through strong cross-functional partnership with marketing, medical, agencies, enterprise platform teams, and delivery partners—ensuring content is compliant, reusable, orchestration-ready, and measurable.
Scope & Leadership Expectations
Acts as the activation and adoption lead for content platforms and lifecycle practices—turning product strategy and standards into repeatable execution across brands and functions.
Leads cross-functional alignment across marketing, medical, agencies, global DD&T/platform teams, and delivery partners to drive consistent adoption and measurable improvement.
Operates as a “player/coach” who can run working sessions, create enablement assets, establish readiness criteria, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Content Platform Activation (US): Drive practical activation of global/enterprise content platforms and capabilities (platform enablement, playbooks, adoption support, reusable execution patterns) for USBU & OBU teams and partners.
Faster, Fit-for-Purpose Review Enablement: Enable consistent review practices and readiness discipline that reduce cycle time and rework while maintaining compliance and auditability across regulated content workflows.
Stakeholder-to-Delivery Conduit: Serve as the day-to-day conduit between brand/content stakeholders, medical stakeholders, agencies, and delivery partners—ensuring requirements are clear, dependencies are surfaced early, and delivery is not delayed by preventable readiness gaps.
Governance Operationalization: Turn content governance decisions and standards into usable tools (templates, checklists, metadata/tagging guides, process SOPs) and drive adherence through enablement and remediation.
Cross-Capability Integration: Ensure content activation aligns with omnichannel needs (orchestration readiness, channel formatting, metadata/tagging prerequisites, and measurement enablement) via coordination with MarTech, Omnichannel, and Digital Platforms counterparts.
Continuous Improvement & KPI Impact: Track and improve KPIs tied to adoption and execution outcomes (cycle time, first-pass quality, reuse, tagging compliance, readiness defects).
