We are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant that will play a vital role in providing accounting support and reporting for our rapidly growing organization. In this role you will manage the books and records, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and contribute to process improvements within our control environment and will report directly to the Senior Accounting Manager. We are seeking an individual who can take ownership of day-to-day accounting while also focusing on building scalable operations.

What you’ll be doing as Senior Staff Accountant:
- Perform day to day accounting operations including: general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end accruals
- Support a timely and accurate monthly accounting close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Assist in establishing, implementing, and maintaining accounting processes and policies to ensure compliance with US GAAP and other applicable standards
- Drive business processes and system improvements with a goal toward automation and efficiency for a rapidly growing company
- Support audits and compliance activities, including documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, to maintain the accuracy of financial metrics and provide commentary on account fluctuations
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analysis to support business objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelors or masters degree in accounting or finance from an accredited program
- At least 2 years of similar experience as a Senior Staff Accountant or relevant role in accounting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of GAAP.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
