Where you’ll be:

This position will be based in Springfield, TN.

All about the role:

As a Team Leader, you will quid and direct the efforts of the maintenance team in the deployment of their duties. The supervisor will teach and instruct the team in the proper practices of doing their jobs and follow a safety-first approach.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and coach teams of tradesmen in performing repairs and preventative maintenance on all equipment in the plant.

• Lead by example all of the safety rules pertaining in the workplace and provide a safe workplace for all team members.

• Must be able to handle the shift while his supervisor is out of the plant. This includes all radio calls, time and attendance, handling the work order system, shift notes all daily paperwork to include vacations, 8D sheets, stop cards and daily check sheets.

• Make recommendations concerning discipline of a team member to his supervisor when he returns but first, he must see the Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of maintenance experience.

• High school degree.

• Communication skills for effective collaboration with different stakeholders, internal teams and factories.

• Ability to do simple math – add, subtract, multiply, divide and percentages.

• Must have a good understanding of lock out tag out procedure and will ensure all people will comply with Plant Policy.

Physical Demands:

• Must have the ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 50lbs. on a repetitive basis.

• Must be able to work out of an articulation boom or scissor lift up to 50 feet in the air.
